The inspiration for the retreat was my craft group and our weekends away together. The creativity and feeling of community that flowed from our weekends gave me new energy. I loved the ability to focus on creating something. I view craft as a creative meditation. A peaceful spot in our day to day hectic lives. I have moved from being a professional woman and non-crafter to being someone who loves creating things and views craft as a beneficial part of my life.
Food has always been a big part of our weekends away so I have ensured that the kitchen at Create at Warburton will enable you to cook up a storm if you want. There are also many great eateries in town to check out.
